United Acceptance, Inc. welcomes you as a customer. All terms and conditions specified in your original contract with the dealer from whom you purchased your vehicle will remain the same. The only difference is that you will now make your payments to us rather than the dealer. UAI may report your account to the 3 major credit bureaus, so we can be an excellent credit reference for you should you keep your account current.

We accept the following payment types:

  • Personal checks
  • Bank or cashier’s checks
  • Money orders
  • Western Union Speedpay (checking or savings account, debit/credit cards)
  • Western Union Quick Collect
  • We do not accept cash.

To do a Western Union Quick Collect Payment:

  • go to your local Western Union location
  • select a Quick Collect form, which has the light blue band at the top
  • enter “BRADY” and “GA” in the spaces entitled CODE CITY and STATE
  • make sure you put your account number in the space provided

How do I make my payment?

You may mail payments to us in the self-addressed envelopes provided by UAI, or you may choose one of the Western Union payment options listed above. Payments can be made by contacting our Customer Service Department at 888-951-9762 or through our automated system as 866-282-1933. Payments may also be made through our website at

Is there a grace period?

If mailing a payment, please mail your payment 5-7 business days prior to your due date to ensure timely receipt.

What is the benefit of the transfer to UAI?

The benefits of your account being transferred to UAI are numerous. We do report to the three major credit bureaus so keeping your UAI account in good standing will help you reestablish your credit rating. Also, we offer personalized customer service that is second to none!

When will I receive something in writing from United Acceptance, Inc.?

You should receive a welcome letter from UAI within the next 5 business days. Upon receipt, please contact our Customer Service Department at 888-951-9762 to confirm receipt and verify your information. Additionally, you will begin receiving monthly statements from UAI.

Do you have an alternate location for making payments?

No. Our only location is in the metro Atlanta area.
